Grading stamps: centering, gum, and condition

Stamp grading is the combined assessment of centering, gum condition, perforations, and faults. Unlike coins, there is no universal numeric scale — the major expertizing bodies use descriptive grades, and PSE provides the most standardised numeric approach.
